Crawford County Board of Health will meet Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 6 p.m. in the conference room loacted at 306 Oak Hill Circle, English.

Crawford County Council for a Drug-Free Community will meet Monday, Oct. 23, at 8 a.m. at Van's Country Table at Marengo. The public is invited.

Crawford County Sheriff's Merit board will meet Monday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m. at the Crawford County Judicial Complex in English.

Crawford County Soil and Water Conservation Board of Supervisors will meet Monday, Oct. 23, at 6:30 p.m. at the Crawford County SWCD office, English.

English Town Council will meet Monday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m. at the town hall. Note that this is a change from the regular meeting date.

Harrison County Council will meet Monday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m. in the Commissioners/Council Room at the Harrison County Government Center, 245 Atwood St., Corydon.

Harrison County Park board will meet Wednesday, Oct. 25, at 7 p.m. in the Commissioners/Council Room at the Harrison County Government Center, 245 Atwood St., Corydon.

Indiana 15 Regional Planning Commission Executive board will meet Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 6:30 p.m. followed by the full board meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the Commission's office, 221 E. First St., Ferdinand.

Patoka Lake Regional Water and Sewer District operational meeting will be Wednesday, Oct. 25, at 6:30 p.m. at the PLRWSD office board room, 2647 N. S.R. 545, Dubois.

South Central Area Special Education Cooperative Governing board will meet Wednesday, Oct. 25, at the cooperative, 600 Elm St., Suite 2, Paoli. A closed executive session will be at 9:30 a.m. followed by the public meeting at 10.

Church

Central Barren United Methodist Church will have a fried oyster/chili supper Saturday, Oct. 21, beginning at 5 p.m. The menu also will include baked ham, hot dogs, potato salad, slaw, baked beans, persimmon pudding, pies, cakes and drinks. There also will be a country store and silent auction.

Liberty View Church will present live music by Danny Jones and Family Saturday, Oct. 21, at 6 p.m. The church is located two miles north of Milltown along S.R. 66. Everyone is welcome.

Lincoln Hills United Methodist Church food pantry will be open Saturday, Oct. 21. The food pantry, on a first-come, first-served basis, is open on the first and third Saturdays of each month from 8 to 10 a.m. Crawford County residency is required. The church is located at 1598 W. S.R. 64.

Marengo United Methodist Church will host a Relay for Life yard sale and church barbecue Saturday, Oct. 21. The $9 barbecue dinner will feature half a chicken, slaw, baked beans desserts and a drink with eat-in meals. Carry-out is also available. The barbecue will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. with the yard sale to start at 8 a.m. The church is located on 1449 N. Hardy Road, Marengo.

Miscellaneous

Crawford County Relay for Life will meet Thursday, Oct. 19, at 6:30 p.m. at Van's Country Table at Marengo. Anyone interested in helping to plan the 2018 RFL or having a team is welcome.

Grantsburg Cemetery board will have its annual business meeting Saturday, Oct. 21, at 1 p.m. at Grantsburg Church.

Mt. Sterling Historical Association will hold its annual meeting Saturday, Oct. 21, at 1 p.m. at the cemetery shelter house.

Southern Indiana Traumatic Brain Injury Foundation will meet Thursday, Oct. 21, at 7 p.m. in the Education Conference Room at Southern Indiana Rehab Hospital, 3104 Blackiston Blvd., New Albany. Refreshments will be provided.

Reunion
