The Crawford County Board of Commissioners and Council reorganized for 2012 at special meetings Tuesday, Jan. 3, at the judicial complex in English.
The commissioners, who met in the morning, will keep the same look, with District 3 Commissioner Jim Schultz again chosen as president and Randy Gilmore, who represents District 2, as vice president.
The three-member board also approved a contract for John E. Colin again to serve as the county attorney.
However, the commissioners changed their monthly meeting dates. For several years, the board had met on the last Thursday night, but now will meet on the last Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the judicial complex unless advertised otherwise. A closed executive session will precede the meeting at 5.
That evening, the council reorganized prior to its regular monthly meeting.
It, too, will keep the same leadership, with at-large member Jerry Brewer again serving as president and Jim Taylor, who represents District 2, as vice president.
Marcus Burgher IV again will serve as the group's attorney, and regular meetings will remain on the second Tuesday of the month (except for January) at 7 p.m. at the judicial complex.
