Crawford pigskin to host golf scramble

The ninth annual Crawford County Wolfpack Football Golf Scramble will be Saturday, Sept. 14, at Lucas Oil Golf Course in English.

The scramble format is four-person teams, with men playing from white tees while ladies play from reds and 60-plus play from yellows. Each participant will receive one free mulligan with additional available for purchase.

First-, second- and third-place teams will win cash prizes. Additional prizes will be awarded for longest drive, longest putt and closest to the pin.

Businesses and individuals are encouraged to sponsor the event. Donation minimum of $25 is asked by the organizers. Sponsorship includes signage on a tee box for one hole along with singage at the clubhouse. Contributions of door prizes are also encourage.

The event will kick off at 1:30 p.m. with a shotgun start. Entry is $200 per team or $50 per person. There is a 22-team limit.
