Crawford County Board of Commissioners have changed their meeting this month to Tuesday, April 22. The public meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Crawford County Judicial Complex at English.

Crawford County Community School Corp. Board of Trustees will meet Tuesday, April 15, at the Administrative Building, 5805 E. Administration Road, Marengo. The public meeting will immediately follow a 6 p.m. closed executive session.

Crawford County Sheriff's Merit Board will meet Wednesday, April 16, at 7 p.m. at the Crawford County Judicial Complex at English.

Crawford County Tourism Board will meet Wednesday, April 16, at 9 a.m. at the Crawford County Tourism Office at Leavenworth.

Georgetown Town Council will meet Tuesday, April 15, at 6:30 p.m. at the town hall.

Greenville Town Council will meet Monday, April 14, at 7 p.m. at the Greenville Town Hall.

Harrison County Council will meet Monday, April 14, at 7:30 p.m. at the Harrison County Court House at Corydon.

Harrison County Hospital Board of Trustees will meet Wednesday, April 16, at 7 p.m. at the new HCH at Corydon.

Harrison County Sheriff's Merit Board will meet Thursday, April 10, at the Harrison County Justice Center at Corydon. The public meeting will be at 7:30 p.m., preceded by the closed executive session at 7.

Leavenworth Town Council will meet Monday, April 14, at 7 p.m. at the town hall.

LifeSpan Resources Inc. Board will meet Monday, April 14, at 11:45 a.m. at the LSR Conference Room, 426 Bank St., Ste. 100, New Albany.

Marengo Town Council will meet Monday, April 14, at the town hall. The public meeting will be at 7:30 p.m., preceded by a closed executive session at 7.

Milltown Town Council will meet Monday, April 14, at 7:30 p.m. at the town hall.

North Harrison Community School Corp. Board of Trustees will meet Thursday, April 10, at 7:30 p.m. at North Harrison Middle School at Ramsey.

Church Events

Bethel United Methodist Church in Central will host a pork chop or ham supper on Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. The meal will include pork chop or ham, mashed potatoes, green beans or baked beans, slaw, dessert and drink. Carry-outs will be available. The cost will be $7 for adults and $3.50 for children younger than 12. There will also be a silent auction.

Day Spring Emmaus Men's Walk No. 91 will be at Wooded Glen Retreat Center in Henryville April 17 through 20. The men's lay director is Mike May of Milltown. The Saturday night service will be at Christ Community Church of Nazarene on Charlestown Road in New Albany, starting at 7:30. Women's Walk No. 92 will be April 24 through 27 at Wooded Glen Retreat Center in Henryville. The women's lay director is Shelia Ehalt of Lanesville. The Saturday night service will be at Restoration Christian Church in Sellersburg, starting at 7:30.

Tunnel Hill Christian Church, located at 5105 Old Georgetown Road in Edwardsville will host the "Crop for a Cause" Saturday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Registration is required, as seating is limited and the meal will be ordered in advance. The $15 registration fee includes lunch and drink. (Other refreshments will be available for purchase during the day.) There will be door prizes, techniques, demonstrations, as well as some supplies available for purchase and a limited quantity of scrapbooking tools will be available for use. The deadline to register is May 3. This is a fundraiser, with proceeds going to the Children's Cancer Research Foundation. The event is co-hosted by the Independent Order of Foresters of Louisville and Southern Indiana. Women's Aglow Fellowship will meet Thursday, April 10, at 6 p.m. at the English Senior Citizens Building.

Organizations

Crawford County Habitat for Humanity will meet Tuesday, April 15, at 7 p.m. at 124 S. Second St., Marengo.

Crawford County Historical and Genealogical Society will meet Monday, April 14, at 6:30 p.m. at the Crawford County Junior-Senior High School media center. Jim Kaiser will be the guest speaker.

Milltown Community Association will meet Thursday, April 10, at 6:30 p.m. at the Milltown Town Hall.

Milltown Parks Board will meet Thursday, April 10, at 7:30 p.m. at the Milltown Town Hall.

New Salisbury Lions Club will meet Thursday, April 10, at 6:30 p.m. at Central Barren United Methodist Church.

Senior Citizens

English Senior Citizens will have a fish fry Friday, April 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at their center at 313 N. Indiana Ave. The menu will include a choice of macaroni and baked beans, slaw and drink, as well as dessert, for $6. Carry-outs will be available.

Veterans

American Legion Post 332 Auxiliary will meet Tuesday, April 15, at 7:30 p.m. at the post home at Milltown.
