Crawford County Public Library Board will meet Tuesday, April 29, at 6 p.m. at the Crawford County Public Library at English.

Georgetown Board of Zoning Appeals will meet Thursday, April 24, at 6:30 p.m.

Harrison County Board of Zoning Appeals will meet Thursday, April 24, at 6:30 p.m. at the Harrison County Court House at Corydon.

Harrison County Council will meet Monday, April 28, at 7:30 p.m. at the Harrison County Court House at Corydon.

Harrison County Land Conservation Committee will meet Tuesday, April 29, at 7 p.m. at the Harrison County Community Foundation at 1523 Foundation Way, Corydon.

Harrison County Public Library Board will meet Thursday, April 24, at 3:30 p.m. at the Harrison County Public Library at Corydon.

Church Events

Corydon United Methodist Church on the Square will have a pitch-in meal Sunday, April 27, at 5 p.m. followed by a program at 6 of a local music group, Mixed Blessings (gospel, country and old time favorites.) The group consists of Tom Barton, Danny Bullington, Gene Johnson, Barb Martin, John Rowland and Jill Taylor.

English Church of God will have revival services April 24 through 30 with Brother and Sister Dors Wilson as evangelist and special singers. Service times will be Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Monday through Thursday at 7 p.m.

Household of Faith, Assembly of God Church in Crandall will host a fish fry Friday, May 2, beginning at 5 p.m. at the Crandall Masonic Lodge off Oak Street in Crandall. A free-will offering will be collected for those dining in the Lodge; carry-out meals are $7. Proceeds go toward the church building fund. For more information, call 736-5474 or 972-0269.

Marengo Christian Church will present an encore performance of its Easter play and cantata "Then Came Morning" on Wednesday evening, April 30, at 6. The church is located at 470 S. Cedar St. Everyone is invited. For more information, call Carol Edwards at 365-2159.

May Friendship Day, sponsored by Harrison County Church Women United, will be Friday, May 2, at Heidelberg United Methodist Church south of Corydon. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. with a continental breakfast until 10. The women of Heidelberg UMC will present the program, "God's Wisdom Inspires Hospitality." Mifflin Community Church is having revival services now through Sunday, April 27. Wednesday through Saturday services will be at 7 p.m., while Sunday services will be at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. The evangelist is Melvin Beecher. The Randolph family of Corydon are the singers. The Rev. Don Walter is pastor. Everyone is welcome.

Mount Zion United Methodist Church in Lanesville will have revival services April 24, 25 and 26 at 7 nightly. Tim Johnson will be the guest speaker. The Ferrens will perform. For more information, contact Pastor Frank Pendleton at 969-2553.

Palmyra United Methodist Church, located on S.R. 135 in Palmyra, will open its doors from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 1, for the 57th annual National Day of Prayer. All of the community is invited to come and spend time in mediation and prayer. A closing service will be held at 7 p.m. This year's theme is "Prayer! America's Strength and Shield." National Day of Prayer Luncheon will be Thursday, May 1, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Oasis Ministry Center, 109 W. Poplar St., Corydon. A free light lunch will be served beginning at 11:30. Hardinsburg Alumni reunion will be held Saturday, May 17, at the Bearcat Civic Center, one mile east of Hardinsburg on U.S. 150. Everyone who attended Hardinsburg schools and their families are invited. A social hour will be from 4 to 6 p.m.; dinner will follow. Honor years are 1928, 1938, 1948 and 1958.
