Household of Faith Assembly of God Church in Crandall will host a fish fry on Friday, June 6, beginning at 5 p.m. at the Crandall Masonic Lodge. Mifflin Community Church will have its annual memorial service Sunday, June 1, with the Rev. Joe Miller as evangelist and local singers. Sunday School will start at 9:30 a.m., followed by the worship service at 10:30. The afternoon memorial service will be at 1:30. A pitch-in dinner will be served on the grounds at noon.

Union Chapel Christian Church will have its annual homemade ice cream dinner Saturday, June 7, at 4 p.m. at the Ladies Aid Hall off West Old Goshen Road in Laconia. Workers need to meet to make ice cream on Thursday, June 5. A carry-in dinner will follow. For more information, call 737-2719.
Hardinsburg Town Yard Sale will be Saturday, June 7. In conjunction with the yard sale, the Hardinsburg Lions Club at the Bearcat Civic Center, one mile east of Hardinsburg on U.S. 150, will have events, both inside and outside. Yard sale tables and spots will be available for rent, both inside and outside. A bake sale, beans and cornbread cooked outside, grilled brats, hamburgers and hot dogs, desserts and side dishes will be available. Carry-outs will be available. Lunch will begin at 11 a.m. Beginning at 3 p.m., Beck's Mill Group will be selling food. An auction will be at 5 p.m. After the auction, Beck's Mill Group will provide music. Proceeds from Beck's Mill Group will help maintain the mill. Proceeds from the Lions Club events will help build a shelterhouse. To reserve tables or spots, call 723-4316.
Georgetown Optimist Club will host a lock-in for teens in grades nine through 12 on Saturday, May 31. The lock-in, which will begin at 7 p.m. and conclude at 9 a.m. the next day, will feature pizza, popcorn, candy, chips, soda, breakfast, music, games, door prizes, movies and more. Jackson and Morgan township Farm Bureau will have a pitch in dinner Tuesday, June 3, at 7 p.m. All members and friends are urged to attend. The agenda will include issues to be voted on. Meat and drinks will be furnished.
59th annual reunion for the descendants of Henry R. and Margaret Mossler Quebbeman will be held Saturday, June 7, in the Pfrimmer's Chapel United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. A pitch-in dinner will begin at 1 p.m. Drinks and utensils will be provided.
66th Friendly Funk Family Reunion for descendants of Indiana Pioneer and Revolutionary War soldier Henry and Elizabeth Miller Funk will be Saturday, June 7, at the Leora Brown School in Corydon. Doors will open at 10 a.m. for visitation. There will be a pitch-in lunch at noon followed by a short business meeting. Bring a pot-luck dish to share, beverages, table setting, and family memorabilia and pictures.
