Highland Baptist Church will host a block party Saturday, June 21, from 2 to 5 p.m. There will be food, fellowship and fun for the entire community. New Salisbury United Methodist Church will host a Red Cross blood drive Monday, June 23, from 2 to 6 p.m. Donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and be in generally good health. Palmyra United Methodist Church seniors ministry program, Cream of the Crop, will host a day out for senior citizens Wednesday, June 25, in the Celebration Center in Palmyra starting at 11 a.m. A free lunch (donations accepted) of soup and sandwiches will be served at noon.
