Clothes Closet at Mt. Zion Brethren in Christ Church will be open Tuesday, July 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There will be lots of clothes and household items to be given away. The church is located on Speed Road west of Milltown near S.R. 66.
Crawford Consolidated United Methodist Church invites the public to the Fifth Sunday Community Hymn Sing June 29 at 6 p.m. Bring a song to share or just come to listen. Lincoln Hills United Church, 1598 W. S.R. 64, English, will host a blood drive in honor of Indiana's fallen officer Saturday, June 28, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the fellowship hall. Marengo United Methodist Church will host Golden Friends, a monthly gathering for all seniors Wednesday, July 2, at 11:30 a.m. There will be food, fun and fellowship. New Salisbury Full Gospel Church will have homecoming Sunday, June 28, at 11 a.m. with special singing and preaching. A pitch-in dinner will be held at 1 p.m. with services continuing at 2. Fredonia Fish Fry will be Friday, June 27, from 5 to 7 p.m., or until there is no more fish. Music outside, if weather permits. Bring lawn chairs. Come see the newly remodeled kitchen. This will be the first fish fry of the summer.
Bliss reunion will be Sunday, July 6, at the Oak Grove Church shelterhouse in Corydon. There will be a pitch-in dinner at 12:30 p.m.
