Community Fun at Leavenworth Riverfest
Food, demonstration, music, fireworks to highlight event

The annual Leavenworth Riverfest kicks off Saturday at 11 a.m. with food, demonstrations, Western re-enactments, and much more.
The festival will last until dark and culminates in a Cassabella's Fireworks display.
Booths and demonstrations will be open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and include apple butter, jewelry, blacksmithing, painting, loom work, quilting, lace making, spinning, wood carving, recycling activities, moon walk, tubs-of-fun rides, Cave Country adventures, log home information and elephant ears.
Creative Comedy Clowns will roam the Riverside Park in Old Leavenworth from noon to 5 p.m. They will entertain with balloon animals and face painting.
Musical performances and entertainment acts are scheduled for the entire festival. Acts include Six Guns Entertainment, Joe & Dave, Otis Berry as Elvis, Blue Meridian, and Linda Smith & the Tunes.
Registration for the car show will begin at 10 a.m., and the judging will conclude at 3 p.m.

•10 a.m. — Car show registration Begins
•11 a.m. to 6 p.m. — Activities and Story Time at Breeden Memorial Library
•11 a.m. to 7 p.m. — Booths open and demonstrations
•11 a.m. — Gospel music by Sara Wilson
•Noon to 5 p.m. — Creative Comedy Clowns doing balloon animals and face painting
•Noon— Music by Otis Berry as Elvis
•1 p.m. Six Guns Entertainment (re-enactment)
•1 p.m. — Acoustic folk/rock by Joe & Dave
•2:30 p.m. — C.A.R.E.S. Talent Contest by local grade school students
•3 p.m. — Car show judging ends
•3 p.m. — Six Guns Entertainment (re-enactment)
•4 p.m. — Car show awards given
•4:30 p.m. Jazz and blues by Blue Meridian
•7 p.m. Country and Classic Rock by Linda Smith & The Tunes
