Bethel Christian Church in Doolittle Mills will have a revival now through Friday at 7 p.m. Evangelist is Brother Alfred Helms of Parkview Christian Church in Plainville, except for Friday, when the minister will be Brother Bryan Martin of Eckerty Christian Church. Floyd County Democratic Party 2008 family picnic will be Saturday, Sept. 6, from noon to 4 p.m., at Georgetown Community Park on Wiseman Road in Georgetown. Events will include kids' games and activities, music by Shine-Ola, candidate introductions, door prizes and drawings and a free potluck lunch. North Harrison High School Class of 1998 will have a two-day reunion Oct. 18 and 19. Day one will be adults only from 7 to 11 p.m. at Old Capital Golf Club with appetizers, cash bar and dancing. The cost will be $20 a person. Day two will be a family picnic at 1 p.m. at North Harrison Elementary School. The cost will be $3 per person for fried chicken; each family is also asked to bring a covered dish to share and drinks for their family. RSVP deadline is Sept. 19.
