Edwardsville United Methodist Church will host a quilt and craft show Friday, Sept. 26, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 27, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $1 with proceeds going to a local charity. There will also be a quilt vendor, as well as homemade soup, barbecue and pie. The church is located at 4830 S.R. 64 NE, Georgetown.
Household of Faith, Assembly of God Church, in Crandall, will host a fish fry Friday, Oct. 3, at 5 p.m. at the Crandall Masonic Lodge off Oak Street. Marengo United Methodist Church will host "Golden Friends," a monthly gathering for all seniors, Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 11:30 a.m. This is a time for food, fun and fellowship.
