Why are you seeking the office? I have researched other county offices and have found that we can upgrade our system with the current technology in place and make the date more easily accessible to the public, saving the consumer and the department time and money. It is my passion to serve the people of this community and provide them with the services they are entitled to. Harrison County is a wonderful place to live, work and watch the next generation grow.
What qualifies you for the office? I have 19 years experience in successful business management, strong work ethics, familiar with documents pertaining to recorder's office and have had positive results in providing the public quality and friendly service.
Why should someone vote for you? I am for change and betterment of the department, and I am the "Best" qualified to move forward to carry out the duties as county recorder.
What problems, if any, does the county recorder's office face? Falling way behind with what our technology can provide if we don't implement changes.
How would you help solve those problems? When elected, I will move forward and, with approval, utilize the current technology already in place to meet up to today's standards.
Do you think changes can be made to the office that will help improve someone's experience interacting with the recorder's office? If so, what? Yes. All office staff will be instructed to perform multi-task duties allowing the deed to be recorded as you wait. The consumer will be able to obtain data from their computer, saving them travel time, gasoline and office supplies. We will always provide one-on-one friendly personal service at the office.
Other comments: I would be proud to be your recorder and am eager to fulfill the full-time duties of recorder. I will always try to put the people's needs first.
