Crawford County Council will meet Tuesday, April 14, at 6 p.m. at the Crawford County Judicial Complex at English.

Crawford County Soil and Water Conservation District Board will meet Tuesday, April 14, at 7 p.m. at the Extension Office at English.

Crawford County Tourism Board will meet Wednesday, April 15, at 9 a.m. at the Crawford County Welcome Center, north of Interstate 64 on S.R. 66 near Leavenworth.

Georgetown Town Council will meet Monday, April 13, at 6:30 p.m. at the town hall.

Greenville Town Council will meet Monday, April 13, at 7 p.m. at the town hall.

Harrison County Council will meet Monday, April 13, at 7 p.m. at the Harrison County Court House at Corydon.

Harrison County CVB Tourism Commission will meet Monday, April 13, at 4 p.m. at the Harrison County CVB Administrative Offices at Corydon.

Harrison County Hospital Board of Trustees will meet Wednesday, April 15, at 7 p.m. at HCH at Corydon.

Harrison County Solid Waste Management District Board will meet Tuesday, April 14, at 7:30 p.m. at the Harrison County Recycling Facility at 3151 Progress Blvd., Corydon.

Leavenworth Town Council will meet Monday, April 13, at 7 p.m. at the town hall.

Milltown Town Council will meet Monday, April 13, at 7:30 p.m. at the town hall.

North Harrison School Board will meet Thursday, April 16, at 6:30 p.m. at North Harrison Middle School at Ramsey. This is a date and time change.

Church/Easter Events

Carefree Christian's Missionary Church will host Good Friday services at 7 p.m. The church will host a breakfast Saturday, April 11, at 9:30, followed by a presentation of the resurrection story. At 10:30 a.m., the church will host an egg hunt at Leavenworth Park. Everyone is welcome to attend all events. For more information, call 365-2532.

Harrison Hills Baptist Church near Lanesville will host Easter services beginning with fellowship and a continental breakfast from 8 to 9 a.m. Sunday Bible Study will begin at 9:30, followed by worship service at 10:30. Highland Baptist Church in Georgetown will host an Easter sunrise service Sunday at 7:30 followed by a worship service at 10. Everyone is invited. The church is located at 1305 Edwardsville-Galena Road, just off Interstate 64 at exit 118.

Lincoln Hills United Methodist Church offers the following events during Holy Week: April 9, Maundy Thursday communion service, "Lord, Is It I?"; will join with Marengo United Methodist Church in a community Good Friday service at 7 p.m.; Sunday sunrise at Lincoln Hills UMC at 7:30, "Journey of Stones," followed by breakfast and 9:30 worship service and Easter cantata, "A Resurrection Musical." Lincoln Hills UMC is located west of English along S.R. 64. For more information, call Pastor Jerry at 338-2047.

Marengo Christian Church will have a Good Friday service, which will include communion, at 7 p.m. Easter sunrise service will be at 7, followed by a breakfast and a Resurrection Day service. Everyone is invited to all services.

Marengo Christian's Missionary Church will host an Easter egg hunt Saturday, April 11, at 2 p.m. The church is located on Valeene Road.

Milltown will host a community Easter egg hunt Saturday, April 11, at 1 p.m. at Baylor Park (across from Milltown Elementary School). Children 10 and younger are invited. There will be lots of eggs, candy and prizes.

Sunrise service will be held Sunday at 7 at Pilot Knob Hill south of Marengo. In case of inclement weather, the service will be at Pilot Knob United Methodist Church. For more information, call 365-2327 or 968-4081.

Women's Aglow Fellowship will meet Thursday, April 9, at 6 p.m. at the English Senior Citizens Building.

Miscellaneous

Bethany Union Cemetery annual meeting will be Saturday, April 11, at 7 p.m. at the church.

Community yoga class will be Saturday, April 11, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Breeden Memorial Library at Leavenworth. The class, held on the second Saturday of each month, is free, but free-will donations will be accepted to benefit the library and Orange County Humane Society. For more information, call 365-9524.

Crawford County 4-H Super Saturday Kick Off will be Saturday, April 11, from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Crawford County 4-H Community Park south of Marengo along S.R. 66. It will feature free ice cream, live animal demonstrations, make-and-take crafts, workshops, T-shirt giveaways and a construction simulator. Youth not involved in 4-H will be able to learn about 4-H projects, visit with club leaders and members, and try out some of the fun they will have in 4-H. The 4-H organization is open to any youth in grades three through 12. Activities include photography, computers, sewing, food preservation, wildlife, raising livestock, riding horses, sport fishing, shooting sports, tie-dying, electricity and more. Minter Cemetery meeting will be Tuesday, April 14, at 7 p.m. at the Birdseye Town Hall.

Multiple Sclerosis Support Group will meet Tuesday, April 14, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the YMCA of Harrison County at Corydon. For more information, call Shannon Juliot at 347-2370.

Organizations

Crawford County His-torical and Genealogical Society will meet Monday, April 13, at 6:30 p.m. at the Crawford County Junior-Senior High School media center south of Marengo.

New Salisbury Lions Club will meet Thursday, April 9, at 6:30 p.m. at Central Barren United Methodist Church.
