Crandall Town Council will meet Monday, April 20, at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Center.

Crawford County Board of Commissioners will meet in special session Friday at the Crawford County Judicial Complex at English to discuss a personnel issue. A closed executive session will begin at 8 a.m. and will be followed by the public meeting.

Crawford County Community School Corp. Board of Trustees will meet Tuesday, April 21, at the Administration Office, 5805 E. Administration Road, Marengo. A closed executive session will begin at 6:15 p.m. followed by the public meeting at 7:15.

Crawford County Board of Health will meet Tuesday, April 21, at 6 p.m. at the Crawford County Health Department at English.

English Town Council will meet Monday, April 20, at 7 p.m. at the English Fire Station.

Harrison County Board of Commissioners will meet Monday, April 20, at 7:30 p.m. at the Harrison County Court House at Corydon.

Harrison County Park Board will meet Wednesday, April 22, at 6:30 p.m. at the Harrison County Parks Office, Room 202, at Corydon.

Church Events

Lincoln Hills United Methodist Church will have a concert featuring Master's Men Saturday, April 18, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. followed by homemade ice cream, cookies and sandwiches. A free-will offering will be accepted. The church is located west of English off S.R. 64. For more information, call 1-812-338-3254.

Livonia and Mill Creek Baptist churches youth will present the musical "Arkeology Remem-bering God's Plan and Promise." This familiar Bible story is told using creative dialogue from the animals' perspective as God leads Noah on one of the most outrageous adventures in the history of mankind. The dates for the musical are Saturday, April 18, at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 19, at 11 a.m. at Livonia Baptist Church. The church is located on S.R. 56 west of Salem.

Marengo Wesleyan Church will have revival services Sunday, April 26, at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., and April 27, 28 and 29 at 7 nightly. Evangelist will be Tony Bye of Marion. Special singing will be by Chris Brown of Milltown (Sunday) and Judith Montgomery of Shoals (weeknights). The congregation welcomes everyone to worship.

Mifflin Community Church will host revival services April 21 through 26. Services will be at 7 nightly from Tuesday through Saturday and at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday. The Rev. and Mrs. Henry Miller will be preaching and singing. Everyone is welcome.

St. Michael's Catholic Church in Bradford will stage a dessert card party Wednesday, April 22, at 6 p.m. at Central Barren United Methodist Church, located at the intersection of S.R. 135 and Bradford Road. The change in location is because of construction at St. Michael's. Admission will be $5. There will be prizes and raffles.


Wickliffe Cemetery Association annual meeting will be Saturday, April 18, at 10 a.m. at Wickliffe United Methodist Church.


Crawford County Habitat for Humanity will meet Tuesday, April 21, at 7 p.m. at 124 S. Second St., Marengo.

Gilmore Cemetery, south of Eckerty, will have a meeting Saturday, April 18, at 4 p.m. at the home of Orin Newton. All interested persons are welcome.

Greenville Masonic Lodge 416 will confer the Fellowcraft degree on Thursday, April 16. Dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. with the ceremony at 7:30.


VFW Post 6160 will meet Thursday, April 16, at 7 p.m. at the post home at English.
