Household of Faith, Assembly of God Church, in Crandall will host a fish fry Friday, May 1, beginning at 5 p.m. at the Crandall Masonic Lodge off Oak Street. Association of Varied Arts and the Crawford County Public Library will host a poetry reading Friday, April 24, at 7 p.m. at the library at English. Come with a poem to share or just come and listen. Refreshments will be provided.
Dance and social gathering featuring Shirley and the Charms and a pitch-in dinner sponsored by the Hardinsburg Lions Club will be each Wednesday and Friday from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at Nevin Park on Cline Road in Corydon. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. Shirley and the Charms also will play at the Bearcat Civic Center along U.S. 150 near Hardinsburg on Sundays from 2 to 5 p.m. Admission is free, and the kitchen is open.
