Bethany Union Church, located south of Eckerty, will have its Memorial Service Sunday, May 24, at 1 p.m. A pitch-in dinner will precede the service at noon in the shelterhouse.
Household of Faith, Assembly of God Church, in Crandall will host a fish fry Friday, May 22, beginning at 5 p.m. at the Crandall Masonic Lodge. The all-you-can-eat adult meal is $7; for children 10 and younger, the cost is $3. Carry-outs will be available. Proceeds will go toward the church's Ecuador Missions Trip in July. Mifflin Community Church revival and Memorial Day services will be Friday through Sunday, May 29 through 31. Services will be at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Sunday school will be at 9:30 a.m., followed by worship at 10:30, a pitch-in dinner at noon and Memorial Day service at 2 p.m. The guest speaker will be Joseph Reimann of Cincinnati.
Mifflin Community Church will hold Vacation Bible School June 1 through 5 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
Rolling Hills Worship Center will sponsor a yard sale Friday and Saturday, May 23 and 24, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the rest area along S.R. 64 one mile east of the intersection with S.R. 66 in Marengo.
St. Peter's Lutheran Church near Lanesville will have its annual whole hog Pig Roast Saturday, May 30, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The menu will include pulled pork with or without barbecue sauce, baked beans, potato salad, slaws, drinks and homemade desserts. Everyone is welcome. The church is located at 655 St. Peter's Church Road.
Todd-Dickey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center will conduct blood pressure checks Tuesday, May 26, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Marengo Housing for the Elderly and Friday, May 29, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the English Housing for the Elderly.
