Blue River Commission will meet Wednesday, July 15, at 7:30 p.m. at Community First Bank at Corydon.

Crandall Town Council will meet Monday, July 20, at 6:30 p.m. at the Crandall Community Center.

Crawford County Board of Commissioners and Council will meet in special session Thursday, July 16, at 8 a.m. at the Crawford County Judicial Complex at English.

Crawford County Council for a Drug-Free Community will meet Tuesday, July 21, at 8 a.m. at Van's Restaurant at Marengo.

Crawford County Community School Corporation Board will meet Tuesday, July 21, at the Administration Office at 5805 E. Administration Road near Marengo. A closed executive session will be at 6:15 p.m., followed by the public meeting at 7:15.

English Town Council will meet Monday, July 20, at 7 p.m. at the English Fire Station.

Harrison County Board of Commissioners will meet Monday, July 20, at 7:30 p.m. at the Harrison County Court House at Corydon.

Harrison County Parks Department board will meet Wednesday, July 22, at 6:30 p.m. at Walter Q. Gresham Park at Lanesville.

Church Events

Carefree Christian's Missionary Church will have revival services Wednesday, July 15, through Saturday, July 18, at 7 p.m. each day. The evangelist will be Brother Keith Jenkins of Petersburg. Special singing will be by Heavenbound of Paoli (today and Thursday), The Eastridge Family of Salem (Friday) and The Joy Bells of Cook's Chapel (Saturday). Fairview General Baptist Church in Taswell will have a homecoming Sunday, July 19, at 10 a.m. A meal will follow the service. Everyone is invited. There will be no evening service.

New Hope Baptist Church in Birdseye will have Vacation Bible School Monday, July 20, through Friday, July 24, from 6 to 8 p.m.

St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon will host Vacation Bible School Monday, July 20, through Friday, July 24, from 9 a.m. to noon, for ages 4 through 12. This year's theme will be "The Marvelous Mystery: The Mass Comes Alive." The cost will be $10 per child or $40 per family. Registrations will be accepted during the Marvelous Magic Show Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. The church is located at 312 E. High St. For more information, call 738-2759.


Crawford County Habitat for Humanity will meet Tuesday, July 21, at 7 p.m. at 124 S. Second St. in Marengo.

Historical Society of Harrison County will host Ray Craft, a member of the Milan Miracle basketball team that won the 1954 boys Indiana State Championship, Tuesday, July 21, at 7 p.m. at the Gerdon Youth Center on Chestnut Street (former Corydon High School) at Corydon. American Legion Post 84 Legionnaires will meet Monday, July 20, at 6:45 p.m. at the post home at Marengo.
