Blue River Church of Christ in Depauw will have homecoming service Sunday, Sept. 20, at 11:30 a.m. led by Stephen Purlee of Salem and song leader Josh Starrett. A basket dinner will be served at 1 p.m.; bring folding chairs. Drinks and table service will be provided. The annual board meeting will begin at 2 p.m.
Corydon Presbyterian Church will host a Taste of CPC. There will be an open house Saturday, Sept. 19, from 3 to 5 p.m. with the opportunity to tour the facility, visit with church members, explore your faith and enjoy an ice cream sundae. On Sunday, Sept. 20, join CPC for worship at 10 a.m., followed by education hour and a pitch-in meal. First Capital Christian Church will have a "swap and share" Friday, Sept. 18, from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 19, from 9 a.m. to noon. Also on Friday, there will be a soup supper. Lincoln Hills United Methodist Church will host a community blood drive Saturday, Sept. 19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Donors must bring positive identification (i.e. Red Cross donor card or driver's license), be 17 years old or 16 with signed parental consent, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. Tunnel Hill Free Methodist Church, located along S.R. 64 west of English, will host revival services Sept. 18, 19 and 20.
