September 16, 2009 The Crawford County Wolfpack got behind early and never fully recovered, losing 50-14 at Forest Park Friday night.
Crawford County scored two touchdowns, both coming in the air on throws by Isaac Bowles to Evan Aldridge and Jonathon Bowles, with the Bowles-to-Bowles completion going for 52 yards.
Forest Park, meanwhile, put seven touchdowns on the board, courtesy of a dominating ground game.
The Wolfpack finished with 243 yards of offense. Of their 143 rushing yards, Andrew Douglas carried the ball 20 times for 90 yards, and Jonathon Bowles carried seven times for 16 yards. Isaac Bowles completed seven of 28 pass attempts for 109 yards. Aldridge caught two passes for 14 yards, and Jonathon Bowles caught one.
On defense, Jonathon Bowles had five tackles, while Boone Kenner had four tackles and a fumble recovery. Aldridge had two tackles and an interception, and James Grant had two tackles and blocked a point-after kick attempt, his third block of the season.
Crawford County finished with 16 first downs to Forest Park's 20.
