The seventh annual Cockadoodle Days Festival will return to the Harrison County Fairgrounds in Corydon Friday and Saturday.

Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League's Old Capitol Power Pull Midwest Region Finals will be back for the second consecutive year. This event will be held in the grandstand on both Friday and Saturday evenings beginning at 6:30.

Admission to the festival is free; however, ticket prices for the Old Capitol Power Pull are as follows: adults, $13 in advance or $15 at the gate; students (ages 7 to 18) $10 in advance or $12 at the gate; children 6 and younger are free. Two-day passes can be purchased for $20 in advance or $25 at gate for adults, and $15 in advance or $18 at the gate for students. In addition to the grandstand seating, pit passes may be purchased during the festival only for $10.

Tickets are on sale now at the Blaine H. Wiseman Visitor Center, Chase Bank and Community First Bank, all in Corydon, First Federal Savings Bank in Elizabeth, First Harrison Bank in Palmyra and Lanesville Food Mart. Credit card purchases are available at the Blaine H. Wiseman Visitor Center only.

Events will include live music, kids' inflatable rides, Tyson chicken sale, YMCA of Harrison County chicken dinner, art, craft and food booths, contests and prizes.

This year's MEGA Yard Sale will benefit 4-year-old Audrey Mason who was diagnosed with a Medulloblastoma brain tumor in August 2008. Volunteers to help work the yard sale are still needed. Anyone interested in helping can contact Robin Bays at 736-5515.
