Crawford County Sheriff's Merit Board will meet Wednesday, Feb. 17, at the Crawford County Judicial Complex at English.

Crawford County Tourism Board of Commissioners will meet Wednesday, Feb. 17, at 9 a.m. at the Crawford County Welcome Center at Carefree.

Georgetown Town Council will meet in special session Tuesday, Feb. 16, at 6:30 p.m. at the town hall.

Harrison County Board of Commissioners will meet Tuesday, Feb. 16, at 7:30 p.m. at the Harrison County Court House at Corydon.

Harrison County Hospital Board of Trustees will meet Wednesday, Feb. 17, at 7 p.m. in the HCH administrative conference room at Corydon.

Harrison County Sheriff's Merit Board will meet Thursday, Feb. 11, in closed executive session at 7 p.m. and in public session at 7:30 at the Harrison County Justice Center at Corydon.

Leavenworth Fire District will have an organization meeting Friday, Feb. 19, at 7 p.m. at the Leavenworth Fire Station.

Church events

Grace Tabernacle Church near Elizabeth will open an extension of its church in New Salisbury at 390 S.R. 64, Suite 3. Services will begin Thursday, Feb. 11, at 6:30 p.m. and will continue each Thursday. Services will be conducted by Gary and Mary Decker. Rolling Hills Worship Center near Hardinsburg will have its fourth annual Homecoming Sunday, Feb. 14, at 10:30 a.m. Brother Jim Brown of Newburgh will bring the message. A carry-in dinner will follow at noon. After the meal, there will be singing with sister Orchid Ater of Nashville, Tenn., and Brother Tony Coonce and the Family Worship Team will also minister. No church will be held Sunday night. Pastor Barbara Grey welcomes everyone.

Miscellaneous

Community yoga class will meet Saturday, Feb. 13, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Breeden Memorial Library at Leavenworth. There is no cost for the class, but free-will donations to benefit the library and animal shelter will be taken. Call 365-9524 for more information.

Organizations

Crawford County Twenty-first Century Scholars will meet Monday, Feb. 15, at 6 p.m. at the Crawford County Junior-Senior High School cafeteria. The topic will be the junior checklist. Upcoming events will include a tour of the University of Southern Indiana on Feb. 20 and an overnight parent conference in March (call for the date).
