Crawford County Public Library board will meet Tuesday, Feb. 23, at 6 p.m. at the library at English.

Harrison County Council will meet Monday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m. at the Harrison County Court House at Corydon.

Harrison County Land Conservation Committee will meet Tuesday, Feb. 23, at 7 p.m. in the Harrison County Annex conference room at Corydon.

Harrison County Park Board will meet Wednesday, Feb. 24, at 7 p.m. in the Commissioners/Council Room at the Harrison County Court House at Corydon.

LifeSpan Resources Inc. Advisory Council will meet Monday, Feb. 22, at 11:45 a.m. at the LSR office at the YMCA building at 33 State St., New Albany.

South Central Area Special Education Cooperative Governing board will meet Wednesday, Feb. 24, at 9:30 a.m. at the cooperative's Administration Building, located at 600 Elm St., Ste. 2, in Paoli.

Church events

Household of Faith, Assembly of God Church in Crandall will host a fish fry Friday, Feb. 19, and every Friday during Lent, beginning at 5 p.m. at the Crandall Masonic Lodge off Oak Street. "All you can eat" adult meals will be $7 for adults; children 10 and younger can eat for $3. Carry-outs will be available. Proceeds will go toward the church's building fund. Resurrection Fellowship (formerly Community Lenten services) will meet for the first time this season at Calvary Baptist Church in New Salsibury. The meeting will be Sunday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend the service and fellowship time. Refreshments will be served. The church is located along S.R. 135. Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church will host its annual German supper March 13 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $9 for adults and $5 for children younger than 10 at the door ($8 and $4, respectively, when purchased in advance at the church). This year's menu includes all-you-care-to-eat German sausage, German potato salad, green beans, sauerkraut, applesauce, bread, desserts and beverages. Hot dogs and macaroni and cheese will be available for children. This year, fresh, uncooked Merkley's sausage links will be available for sale at the supper. The church uses the event to connect with the community and profits are spent on outreach efforts and spreading the Gospel. The church is located along S.R. 62 one mile south of the Georgetown exit of Interstate 64, across from Polly's Freeze. Any questions may be directed to the church office at 1-812-945-2101.

St. Michael Church in Bradford will have a fish fry buffet Friday, Feb. 19, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in its new parish center. Call 364-6173 for more information.

Todd-Dickey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center will conduct blood pressure checks Tuesday, Feb. 23, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Marengo Housing for the Elderly and Friday, Feb. 26, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the English Housing for the Elderly.?
