Draw released for 100th boys' tourney

For the 100th time, Indiana high school boys basketball teams were placed into sectional brackets Sunday, revealing the road to a state championship. The blind draw took place in the same place it will end, March 27, at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Corydon Central will play host to the Class 3A Sectional 30 games.
On Tuesday, March 2, the opening game will pit Salem (7-9) against Silver Creek (8-9) at 7 p.m. The winner will face Crawford County (12-6), which received the bye, on Friday, March 5, at 6 p.m.
Wednesday's games (March 3) will feature a pair of Harrison County teams. In the first game at 6 p.m., North Harrison (6-13) will take on Charlestown (7-10). The Cougars won the regular season game, 49-46. The second game will pit No. 11 Corydon Central (14-4) against Mitchell (5-13). It will be the first time the two teams have hooked up since the 2001 sectional, a game the Panthers won. The winner of each will take on one another in Friday's nightcap at approximately 7:30.
The championship game will be Saturday, March 6, at 7:30 p.m.
The Class 4A Sectional 15 host site will be Seymour.
In the first game on Tuesday, March 2, Seymour (9-8) will take on No. 16 Jeffersonville (15-4) at 6 p.m. The winner will take on Bedford North Lawrence (9-9), which drew a bye, on Friday, March 5, at 6 p.m.
The opposite side of the bracket will feature Floyd Central (12-7) versus Jennings County (3-14) on Tuesday, March 2, at approximately 7:30 p.m. The Highlanders won the regular season meeting, 55-33. The winner will get No. 4 New Albany, which drew the other bye, on Friday, March 5, at approximately 7:30 p.m.
The championship game will take place Saturday, March 6, at 7:30 p.m.
Admission to each session is $5, or all-session passes are $9.
