Guillotine highlight of Georgetown haunt

October 20, 2010
For a few scares, raised hairs and a toilet bowl full of candy, visit the Bodenbender residence, located at 6230 Pioneer Trail in Heritage Woods subdivision west of Georgetown.

"We've got a three-room jail, an electric chair, a lethal injection table and a cemetery," Kim Bodenbender said.

"My brother-in-law, Nate Godsey, does a great job being 'electrocuted.' It's really, really neat."

This will be the first year that the family has set up their scene at their home. The spooky setting was started three years ago while they were camping at Lake Rudolph in Santa Claus. They've been adding to it since.

One of the more popular pieces in the Bodenbender collection is a guillotine.

Visitors are invited to drive by the display on Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. Live displays will be available from 6 to 8.

This is a change from what was originally announced.
