Billy D. McKinney
Billy D. McKinney, 38, according to the Indiana State Police, barricaded himself in his residence, located in the 9900 block of Cedar Lane, after refusing to respond to officers from the ISP and Washington County Sheriff's Department when they attempted to serve several felony and misdemeanor arrest warrants Thursday night around 9:30.
An unidentified female also was located in the residence.
The Indiana State Police Emergency Response Team was activated and, at about 4:42 a.m., made a forcible entry into the residence and took McKinney into custody. The female was not arrested.
McKinney was wanted on multiple warrants, including aggravated assault, battery and criminal mischief, in Harrison and Orange counties.
As a result of last week's incident, McKinney also faces charges in Washington County for resisting law enforcement.
