A Crandall woman was arrested Sunday, Feb. 6, on two Class B felony charges.
Ashley D. Bowers, 27, was arrested at O'Charley's in Corydon, where she was employed, after police re-ceived a tip that she allegedly robbed women at gunpoint the previous week in the parking lot of J.C. Penney and Walmart, both in Clarksville, and at a strip mall in Floyd County.
Bowers was charged with armed robbery as well as attempted armed robbery. She was being held in the Clark County Jail on $50,000 full cash bond.
Bowers, who has no previous criminal history in Harrison County, had her initial hearing Feb. 7 in Clark Superior Court and entered a preliminary plea of not guilty. Her next court date will be a pretrial conference on April 4 with a final pre-trial conference scheduled for June 14. A jury trial is set to begin July 5.
On Tuesday, Feb. 8, Bowers, who claimed she was using a toy gun in the crimes, was also charged in Floyd County with a single count of Class B felony robbery.
