Hillview Christian Church will host the Celebrate Spring Concert featuring Ivan Parker Sunday, March 13, at 6 p.m. Parker has been voted Favorite Male Singer and Favorite Soloist at the Singing News Fan Awards. The concert is free, but a free-will offering will be taken to assist with Parker's expenses. Concessions will be provided by the Hillview Mission Team. All churches are invited. Household of Faith, Assembly of God Church in Crandall will host a fish fry each Friday during Lent, March 11 through April 22, at the Crandall Masonic Lodge along Oak Street. Serving will begin at 5 p.m. The "all you can eat" adult meals will be $7; $3 for children 10 and younger. Carry-out will be available. Proceeds go toward the church building fund. Lincoln Hills United Methodist Church, located west of English along S.R. 64, will host a soup, sandwich and dessert supper Saturday, March 12, at 6 p.m. There is no cost, but a free-will donation will be accepted. The fourth Gospel Fest, sponsored by the Harrison County Hymn Sing, will be Saturday, June 11, at the Hurley D. Conrad Memorial Bandstand in downtown Corydon. All churches are welcome to participate and sing and have a food or ministry booth. Entertainment will be available for children and the entire family. Community yoga class will meet Saturday, March 12, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Todd-Dickey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Leavenworth. The class is suitable for beginners and continuing yoga students in normal health. Students need a yoga mat and strap, and a block if they have one. Classes are offered on a donation basis.
