Grace Assembly of God, located at 13605 Gettlefinger Road in Palmyra, invites everyone to attend a Resurrection Fellowship service Sunday, April 3, at 7 p.m. A time of food and fellowship will follow the service.
Mount Zion Brethren in Christ Church clothes closest will be open Tuesday, April 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There will be lots of clothes and household items to be given away. The church is located along Speed Road between Milltown and S.R. 66. Everyone is welcome.
Northwest Christian Church in Depauw will celebrate its 10th anniversary Sunday, April 10. Sunday school will be at 9 a.m., followed at 10 by the worship service, which will feature a guest speaker. Following the service, the congregation will go to the River Church of Christ along Lincoln Springs Road for singing and prayer, as Northwest had services in that building for six months. Then, the congregation will go to the home of Mike and Audra Deaton along Fredericksburg Road — the church's first service was held in the couple's basement — for a pitch-in meal. Northwest Christian Church is located along Wetzel Drive.
St. Michael Church in Bradford will host a fish fry buffet Friday, April 1, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children 11 and younger. All proceeds will go to help fund the youth summer mission trip to Appalachia. On Sunday and Monday, at 7 both evenings, the church will host a Parish Mission. The featured speaker will be contemporary Christian singer Steve Angrisano, who is also a storyteller. All are invited.
Celestine Park will have its spring shooting match Friday, April 1, at the Celestine Community Club. The closed match will start at 8 p.m.
Crawford County Arts and Crafts Association will meet Tuesday, April 5, at 12:30 p.m. at Country Style Plaza Restaurant at Carefree.
Hardinsburg Lions Club will host a fish fry Sunday, April 3, from noon to 5 p.m. at the Bearcat Civic Center, located two miles east of Hardinsburg along U.S. 150. There will be half-and-half drawings and live music beginning at 2. The menu will include Alaskan pollock fish, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, baked beans and dessert. The cost is $6 for fish and choice of two sides. Dine in or carry out. The proceeds will benefit the Lions Club's community projects.
