Crawford County Public Library board will meet Tuesday, April 26, at 6 p.m. at the Crawford County Public Library at English.

Harrison County Council will meet Monday, April 25, at 7 p.m. in the Commissioners/Council Room at the Harrison County Government Complex at Corydon.

Harrison County Parks board will meet Wednesday, April 27, at 7 p.m. at the Harrison County Government Center in Corydon.

Indiana 15 Regional Planning Commission executive board will meet Tuesday, April 26, at 6:30 p.m., followed by the full board at 7:30, at the Commission's office at 221 E. First St. in Ferdinand.

Church/Holiday events

American Legion Post 84 will host an Easter egg hunt Saturday, April 23, at 4 p.m. at the post home at Marengo. There will be two groups: ages 2 through 5 and 6 through 10. In addition, there will be cupcakes, Kool-Aid and prizes.

Blue River Masonic Lodge No. 457 will have a community fellowship event, including an Easter egg hunt, Saturday, April 23, at the Lodge hall along U.S. 150 in Fredericksburg. There will be hamburgers and hot dogs with all of the trimmings starting at 11 a.m. followed by the egg hunt for children 12 and younger at 1 p.m. Everyone is invited.

Christian's Missionary Church of Carefree will have a Good Friday service at 7 p.m. with guest speaker Gary Roll of Hardinsburg. The church also will host a breakfast Saturday, April 23, at 9:30 followed by an egg hunt at 10:30. For more information, call Brother Morris Larimore, pastor, at 365-2532.

Christian's Missionary Church of Marengo will have a spring revival Wednesday, April 20, through Good Friday at 7 p.m. The evangelist will be Brother Harvey McAdams, and special singing will be by the Breeding Family. Also, there will be a Bible story and Easter egg hunt with refreshments on Saturday at 3 p.m. Easter sunrise service will be at 7 followed by a pitch-in breakfast then Sunday school at 9:30. Worship services on Sunday will be at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Scott Allen is the church pastor. Everyone is welcome.

Christian's Missionary Church of New Salisbury will have a Good Friday service at 7 p.m. The evangelist will be Jason VanMeter. On Sunday, there will be an Easter cantata at 10:20 a.m. Everyone is invited to both events.

Ecumenical Easter Sunday service will be at the cross on Pilot Knob hill at 7 a.m. with Brother Jason VanMeter. In case of inclement weather, the service will take place at nearby Pilot Knob United Methodist Church.

Household of Faith, Assembly of God Church in Crandall will have a fish fry Friday, April 22, at the Crandall Masonic Lodge along Oak Street. Serving will begin at 5 p.m. The "all you can eat" adult meals are $7 and children meals (10 and younger) are $3. Carry-outs will be available. Proceeds go toward the church building fund. Marengo Christian Church will host an Easter egg hunt Saturday, April 23, at 11 a.m. with a picnic at noon at the American Legion Park in Marengo. Everyone is invited.

Milltown Events committee and Milltown Park board will host an egg hunt at Baylor Park Saturday, April 23, at noon for children up to age 10. Along with the egg hunt, there will be games and activities.

Taswell Christian Church will have an Easter sunrise service at 7, followed by breakfast at 8 in the Fellowship Hall and Sunday school at 9. Following Sunday school, there will be an Easter egg hunt. Everyone is welcome.

Tunnel Hill Christian Church in Edwardsville will host an Easter egg hunt Saturday, April 23, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Festivities will begin in the Christian Activity Center behind the church. There will be refreshments for all ages. Prizes will be awarded for each group. The church will have baskets available, but children may bring their own. In addition, the Easter Bunny will be there to help, so bring a camera. The event will be held rain or shine. The church is located just off of S.R. 64 along Tunnel Hill Road. Tunnel Hill Free Methodist Church, along S.R. 64 west of English, will have an Easter sunrise service at 7 followed by breakfast. Sunday school will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by worship service at 10:30. The pastor is Doug Byrum.

Hardinsburg Alumni Banquet will be Saturday, May 21, at the Bearcat Civic Center, located two miles east of Hardinsburg along U.S. 150. Social time will begin at 4, with the dinner, prepared by the Hardinsburg Lions Club, at 6. Honor year classes will be 1931, 1941, 1951 and 1961. Anyone who attended Hardinsburg High School is invited. To make a reservation, call Robert Lambert at 1-812-723-4316. Payment also will be accepted at the door.

Hardinsburg Lions Club will host a fish fry Sunday, May 1, from noon to 5 p.m. at the Bearcat Civic Center, located two miles east of Hardinsburg along U.S. 150. There will be half-and-half drawings and live music beginning at 2. The menu will include Alaskan pollock fish, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, baked beans and dessert. The cost is $6 for fish and choice of two sides. Dine in or carry out. The proceeds from the fish fry, which is held the first Sunday of each month, will benefit the Lions Club's community projects.

Southern Indiana Teens for Life will host an open meeting Monday, April 25, from 4 to 5 p.m. at First Church of God at 2248 Charlestown Road in New Albany. The community service and civic involvement group is open to area middle and high school students, ages 12 through 19. Southern Indiana Traumatic Brain Injury Foundation will meet Thursday, April 21, at 7 p.m. in the theater at Southern Indiana Rehab Hospital, located at 3401 Blackinston Blvd. in New Albany. A member of the support group will tell about his trip to the Spring Break Conference in Indianapolis in March. All survivors, family, friends or anyone else who has an interest is invited.
