Birdseye Town Council will meet Thursday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m. at the town hall.

Crawford County Council will meet Tuesday, Nov. 8, at 2 p.m. at the Crawford County Junior-Senior High School media center near Marengo. The council will address the high school seniors prior to the public meeting.

Crawford County Friends of the Library will meet Thursday, Nov. 3, at 6 p.m. at the Crawford County Public Library at English.

Crawford County Solid Waste Management District board will meet Thursday, Nov. 3, at 8 a.m. at the SWCD office at 700 S. Indiana Ave., English.

Georgetown Planning Commission will meet Tuesday, Nov. 8, at 6:30 p.m. at the town office.

Harrison County Board of Commissioners will meet Monday, Nov. 7, at 8:30 a.m. in the Commissioners/Council Room at the Harrison County Government Center at Corydon.

Harrison County Plan Commission will meet Thursday, Nov. 3, at 7:30 p.m. in the Commissioners/Council Room at the Harrison County Government Center at Corydon.

Harrison County Sheriff's Merit board will meet Wednesday, Nov. 9, in closed executive session at 7 p.m. and in public session at 7:30 at the Harrison County Justice Center at Corydon.

Harrison County Solid Waste District board will meet Tuesday, Nov. 8, at 7:30 p.m. at the Harrison County Recycling Facility at Corydon.

HEART Humane Society will meet Tuesday, Nov. 8, at 6:30 p.m. at the Harrison County Public Library at Corydon.

Leavenworth Board of Zoning Appeals will meet Monday, Nov. 7, at 7:30 p.m. at the Leavenworth Community Center.

Leavenworth Plan Commission will meet Monday, Nov. 7, at 6 p.m. at the Community Center.

Church

Household of Faith, Assembly of God Church in Crandall will host a fish fry Friday, Nov. 4, at the Crandall Masonic Lodge along Oak Street. Serving will begin at 5 p.m. "All you can eat" adult meals will be $7; children 10 and younger can eat for $3. Carry-outs will be available. Proceeds will go toward the church building fund. Liberty View Church, located along S.R. 66 just north of S.R. 64 north of Milltown, will have its annual Christmas bazaar Saturday, Nov. 5, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Handmade items, Christmas items, gift baskets, miscellaneous items, homemade fudge and baked items will be available. Chili, soup, desserts and drinks will be sold throughout the day. Everyone is welcome.

Northwest Christian Church in Depauw will host The Geltmakers Sunday, Nov. 6, at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited for a spiritual evening of singing praises. The pastor is Rick Utz.

Palmyra United Methodist Church will have its annual chicken and dumpling dinner, country store, silent auction and dessert auction Saturday, Nov. 5, starting at 4 p.m. in the church's Celebration Center. The menu will consist of chicken and dumplings, green beans, corn, salad, dessert and drink. The cost will be $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 5 through 12 (children 4 and younger can eat for free). The silent auction and country store will feature a variety of items donated from local businesses and individuals. Miscellaneous/Organizations

Jackson-Morgan Township Farm Bureau will have a meeting Thursday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m. at Central Barren United Methodist Church with a pitch-in dinner. Drinks and turkey will be provided. Bring a covered dish. All friends of the Farm Bureau are welcome to attend.

Seniors

English Senior Citizens will have their monthly birthday dinner and will play bingo, Saturday, Nov. 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Hardinsburg Senior Center will have an "all you can eat" breakfast Saturday, Nov. 5, from 7:30 to 10. All ages are welcome. Then, on Tuesday, Nov. 8, at noon, the center will have a board meeting. All members are urged to attend. Discussion will be about the Center's next project.

Veterans

American Legion Post 84 Legionnaires will meet Monday, Nov. 7, at 7:30 p.m. at the post home at Marengo.
