Milltown Fest offers slew of events

The three-day Milltown Community Festival, to be held in the downtown, will begin Friday, Sept. 21, and will feature plenty of activities for all ages.

The festival will kick off with an opening ceremony at 5 p.m. Also on Friday will be the opening round of the karaoke contest, American Legion flag retirement ceremony and the Little Miss/Master and Prince/Princess contests.

There also be a cornhole competition and chili cook-off. Fat Cat & The Felons will be the musical entertainment for the night.

Saturday will feature the parade, a baby crawl contest, bouncy houses, a car and truck show, K-9 demonstration, Six Guns Entertainment exhibition and the karaoke contest finals. A fireworks show and a performance by King Kodd will round out the night.

Sunday will host a community worship service led by pastors from multiple churches and a gospel concert. In addition, there will be a chicken barbecue, the Indy Ducky Derby Duck Race, sports challenge and a main event on Main Street — the toilet races. Plus, there will be a Text Off competition.

Admission will be free.
