As many of you may already know, I am the clerk-treasurer for the town of Leavenworth.
Right now, the town of Leavenworth needs your immediate assistance. Due to budget restraints, there is little money to fund the cemeteries. If the Leavenworth cemeteries are to remain sacred pillars in our community, we must provide well-kept memorial grounds which meet our moral standards. However, today's tough economic conditions make it difficult for the town of Leavenworth to meet those needs without help from people like you.
This year, on July 31, at the Leavenworth RiverFest, we will have a charity and pie auction to raise funds for the Leavenworth Cemetery Fund. I am contacting you on behalf of the town of Leavenworth to request your support in the form of an item donation or gift certificate for the charity and pie auction. All proceeds will benefit the Leavenworth Cemetery Fund.
If you require additional information about the Leavenworth Cemetery Fund or need me to pick up a donation item, please contact me directly by calling 739-1221. If you are mailing your donation, please send it to the town of Leavenworth at P.O. Box 7, Leavenworth, IN 47137.
The Leavenworth RiverFest is July 31, so, if at all possible, please send your donation by July 15. Thank you for your consideration. The town of Leavenworth couldn't do it without the generosity of donors like you.
I want to personally thank you for your support of the Leavenworth Cemetery Fund. We look forward to whatever support you can provide. Your donation will keep the cemeteries in Leavenworth respectfully maintained.
