Other viewpoint needed

We receive the Clarion News each week. Overall, I enjoy reading about the local news and events. There is one area of the Clarion that bothers me, the opinion article by Lee Cable.

I am usually offended by his rhetoric of the GOP and/or conservatives of the world. He uses unnecessary degrading language of conservatives/GOP to further his view(s).

I would not care so much if he were just John Q. Public offering his view, but, in fact, he is a Clarion News staff contributor. To me, this makes your paper a liberal left production and not the "offer both sides" media it should be.

Why doesn't the Clarion News offer a conservative view to counter Mr. Cable's? He is allowed to run his pen out of ink criticizing those of us with differing social views.

I ask the Clarion News to conclude Mr. Cable's weekly opinion or find someone who will counter/offer the other side of the issues.
