Walk proudly, Becky

Becky Hammond Stetter began working at the Crawford County Public Library in her teens, when her mother was librarian and her father drove the bookmobile. She returned to work at CCPL through the AmeriCorps program shortly after I became director.

Her personal zeal and family connections with the military and various state library connections, Becky's goal focused to enable the county library to honor decades of soldiers from Crawford County.

Becky's membership with the Historical Society and the Proctor House project helped further the county library's role and responsibility to help preserve Crawford County's rich history.

Generations past, present and future with ties to Crawford County will be grateful to Becky Hammond Stetter for creating and organizing the Crawford County Public Library's History and Genealogy section.

Walk proudly, Becky, with your shoulders back, a smile on your face with that beautiful baby granddaughter in your arms. Your mission has been accomplished.
