Robert J. Musgrove

Died: Sunday, March 09, 2008
Robert J. Musgrove, 81, Elizabeth, died Sunday, March 9, 2008, at Rolling Hills Health Care Center in New Albany.

Born July 26, 1926, in Athens, Ala., he was the son of the late Herman and Arlee Shoemaker Musgrove.

He was an Army veteran of World War II, a former electrician at Lantech in Louisville and a member of the Church of God.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas, Burt and Fagan Musgrove, and two sisters, Ivor Tucker and Marie Musgrove.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, the former Odeline L. Tennison; two sons, Roger D. and Terry L. Musgrove, both of Elizabeth; four daughters, Ella M. Sutherland, Lynda K. Lawrence and Paula A. Harbeson, all of Elizabeth, and Lois J. Eberle of Floyds Knobs; six sisters, Virginia Livings of Deplace, La., Clovis Glover, Magdalene Shoemaker, Frances Bredding and Gladys Glover, all of Pulaski, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Tuesday, March 11, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, March 12, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

Funeral: Wednesday, March 12, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Glenwood Cemetery near Elizabeth.

Officiant: The Rev. Paul Garriott.

Pallbearers: Daniel Musgrove, Adam Harbeson, Patrick Kelly, Shane Kelly, Allen Musgrove and Bill Eberle.

Honorary pallbearers: Scott Musgrove, Austin Harbeson and Logan Eberle.

The family suggests memorial gifts to Vistacare Hospice.
