Chalmers L. Cline

Died: Monday, April 21, 2008
Chalmers Lee Cline, 87, Floyds Knobs, formerly of Oklahoma, died Monday afternoon, April 21, 2008, at Sellersburg Health and Rehabilitation Centre.

Born in Knoxville, Ark., he was a retired supervisor at PPG Industries in Mount Zion, Ill., and a veteran of the Army 3rd Infantry, serving in World War II, landing in Africa and fighting his way through Italy, France and Germany.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Marilotte Cline; a daughter, Marcella Arnold of New Albany; a sister, Darlene Hope Brandt of Okemah, Okla.; a grandson; and a great-grandson.

Funeral: Saturday, April 26, at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann and Naville Funeral Home with private burial.
