Floyd C. Draper

Died: Wednesday, July 02, 2008
Floyd Clarence Draper, 84, English, died Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at 11:40 p.m. at Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville.

Born Feb. 6, 1924, in Harrison County, he was the son of the late Charles Draper and Ella Massey.

He was a retired pipe fitter with Local 502, a farmer and a member of Trinity Assembly of God in Corydon, where he was a former deacon.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two children, Dona Johnson and Earl Lee Draper; a brother, Charles (Chod) Draper; and a sister, Martha Draper.

Survivors include his wife, the former Norma V. Saltsgaver; three children, Doris Marshall of Evansville, Richard (Rusty) Draper of Zephyrhills, Fla., and Carl Draper of English; a brother, James C. Draper of Leavenworth; a sister, Mary Bea Deal of Scottsburg; Paul, Don, Earl and Alice Saltsgaver, family members reared in his home; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Sunday, July 6, at Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo with burial in Leavenworth Memorial Gardens.

Officiant: Brother Paul Greer.
