Leo A. Lang

Died: Sunday, July 20, 2008
Leo A. Lang, 87, Floyds Knobs, died Sunday, July 20, 2008, at Clark Rehab and Nursing Center in Clarksville.

A native of Galena, he was an Army veteran of World War II, a former employee of New Albany Motor Co. for some 30 years, was retired from Lorillard Co. in Louisville, was a member of Hobart Beach VFW Post 1693 and a founding member of the Floyds Knobs Conservation Club.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce A. Lang, and a grandson, Seviren Lang.

Survivors include three children, Leland (Butch) Lang of New Albany and Neal (Corky) Lang and Darci Kay Givens, both of Floyds Knobs; two brothers, Ted Lang of Bradenton, Fla., and Norman Lang of Lake Placid, Fla.; and four grandchildren.

Visitation: Wednesday, July 23, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Kraft Funeral Chapel in New Albany.

Funeral: Thursday, July 24, at 11 a.m. at the funeral chapel followed by interment in St. Mary Navilleton Church Cemetery in Floyds Knobs.
