William Dersch

Died: Wednesday, November 12, 2008
William (Bill) Dersch, 103, Tell City, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008, at his home.

Born July 24, 1905, in Spencer County, he was the son of the late Mathas and Anna Grass Dersch.

He was a farmer, a charter member of Spencer County Farm Bureau, a former member of Trinity United Church of Christ and a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Mabel Held, in 2007, and two brothers, Raymond, his infant twin, and Herman Dersch.

Survivors include two sons, John W. Dersch of Georgetown and James R. (Ronnie) Dersch of Santa Claus; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Monday, Nov. 17, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Tell City.

Officiant: The Rev. Lance Lackore.

The family suggests memorial gifts to Evangelical United Church of Christ or Perry County Memorial Hospital Home Health.
