Janet E. Liso

Died: Monday, March 02, 2009
Janet Elaine Cook Liso, 62, Richmond, Va., formerly of Milltown, died Monday, March 2, 2009, at her home.

Born Aug. 25, 1946, in Louisville, she was the daughter of the late Rupert Clay and Anna Louise Plumb Cook.

She retired after 26 years as a portfolio manager for the Port Authority at the World Trade Center in New York and New Jersey and was a member of Milltown Baptist Church and Milltown Order of the Eastern Star 412.

Survivors include her husband, Robert. E. Liso; three sons, Jeff Allen of Canal Fulton, Ohio, and Jeff and Brian Liso, both of Richmond; two brothers, Don and Jack Cook, both of Milltown; two sisters, Pat Beasley of English and Shirley Roggenkamp of Milltown; and three grandchildren.

Visitation: Thursday, March 5, from 3 to 9 p.m. and Friday, March 6, after 9 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Milltown.

Funeral: Friday, March 6, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Milltown Cemetery.

Officiant: The Rev. Monty Mahoney.

The family suggests memorial gifts to The Office of Development, New York Presbyterian Hospital, 654 W. 170th St., NY, NY 10032 (make checks payable to New York Presbyterian Fund with “Dr. Schropes’ work” in the memo line).
