Clarence Pavey

Died: Saturday, January 09, 2010
Clarence (Delbert) Pavey, 67, Hardinsburg, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, at 2 a.m. at his home.

Born July 18, 1942, in Hardinsburg, he was the son of the late Harrington and Alice Ridener Pavey.

He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, a retired UPS employee and a member of Hardinsburg Christian Church.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Stucker; five brothers, Bill, Jim, Arthur, Ray and Stanley Pavey; and a daughter, Dena Ludlow.

Survivors include three sons, Troy Pavey of Tipton and Delbert Jr. and David Pavey, both of Newberry, Mich.; a sister, Martha Harris of New Salisbury; two brothers, Lee Pavey of Milltown and Raymond Pavey of Hardinsburg; his niece, Marjorie Elliott of Hardinsburg, who cared for him; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Funeral: Tuesday, Jan. 12, at 1 p.m. at Hardinsburg Christian Church with burial in Hardinsburg Cemetery.

Officiant: Brother Reg McCutcheon.

Arrangements: McAdams Mortuary in Paoli.
