Clarence A. Moser

Died: Monday, July 11, 2011
Clarence A. Moser, 87, formerly of Clarksville, died Monday, July 11, 2011, in Greenwood after a short illness.

A native of Milltown, he was an Air Force veteran of World War II, a former POW in Romania, a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Clarksville, a former employee of Seinshiemmers in New Albany and retired from Leweb in Salem in 1989.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Dora Moser; four brothers, Martin, Walter, David and Richard Moser; and a son, Robert Moser.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, the former Wauneta Kepley; two sons, William Moser of Dale City, Va., and David Moser of Greenwood; a daughter, Anita Owen of Elizabethtown, Ky.; a sister, Theresa Cox of Leavenworth; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Friday, July 15, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, July 16, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarksville.

Funeral: Saturday, July 16, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Bethlehem Cemetery near Crandall.

The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Heart Association or a charity of the donor’s choice.
