Audrey M. Poe
Died: Thursday, July 21, 2011
Audrey M. Seacat Poe, 97, died Thursday, July 21, 2011, at Indian Creek Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Born Dec. 21, 1913, in Crawford County, she was the daughter of the late John and Minnie Dunn Seacat.
She was a former school cook at Milltown elementary and high schools and was a member of Milltown United Methodist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis O. Poe; a daughter, Joyce Ann Schlensker; and two brothers, Paul and Dale Seacat.
Survivors include a daughter, Marna Morgan of Phoenix; a granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Saturday, July 23, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, July 24, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Milltown.
Funeral: Sunday, July 24, at 2 p.m. at Milltown United Methodist Church with interment in Milltown Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Matt Hinshaw.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Hosparus of Southern Indiana and/or the Union Chapel Cemetery Fund.
