Roger L. Estep
Died: Wednesday, September 14, 2011
Roger L. Estep, 67, Georgetown, formerly of Okeechobee, Fla., died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011, at his home.
Born Oct. 24, 1943, in Proctor, W.Va., he was the son of the late John and Grace Blake Estep.
He was the co-owner and operator of the old Candlelight Restaurant and Lounge in New Martinsville, W.Va., was a founding member of the Okeechobee Eagles Lodge and was a truck driver until his retirement in 2006.
Survivors include three daughters, Jill Schaftlein of Georgetown, Julie Price and of Anderson, S.C., and Gina Lamet Wagner of Fort Pierce, Fla.; two sisters, Mary Deoliveira of Massachusetts and Diane Smith of West Virginia; and six grandchildren.
Memorial liturgy: Saturday, Sept. 17, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lanesville.
Cremation was chosen.
Arrangements: Kraft Funeral Service in New Albany.
