Travis F. Flint

Died: Friday, February 17, 2012
Travis F. Flint, 44, Leavenworth, died Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.

Born March 2, 1967, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Thomas Flint of Nashville, Tenn., and the late Frances Carroll Flint.

He was an aircraft dispatcher for United Parcel Service in Louisville and a member of the National Rifle Association, the Honorable Order of the Kentucky Colonels and Trinity Assembly of God Church.

Survivors besides his father include his wife, the former Angela McDaniel; a daughter, Hannah (Leah) Flint of Leavenworth; a son, Elijah (Eli) Flint of Leavenworth, Ind.; and two brothers, Kelly Flint of Arizona and Patrick Flint of Oklahoma.

Visitation: Tuesday, Feb. 21, from noon to 8 p.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon and Wednesday, Feb. 22, after 9 a.m. at Trinity Assembly of God Church near Corydon.

Funeral: Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 11 a.m. at the church with private burial in Nebo Memorial Gardens in Martinsville.

Officiant: Pastor Paul Greer.

Pallbearers: the Rev. Dennis McDaniel Jr., Oliver Mahata, Loren DeWeese, Chuck Fields, Pastor Darren Carey and Daniel Boone.

Honorary pallbearers: Elijah, Kelly and Patrick Flint.

The family suggests memorial gifts to the Leah and Eli Education Fund.
