Class 3A Sectional at Charlestown: First Round

On Feb. 1, the North Harrison girls' basketball team routed Charlestown 62-28 in its regular season outing, but all of the books are thrown out at tournament time. In the opening round of Class 3A Sectional 30 play last Tuesday, the host Lady Pirates made the night a bit tougher before the Lady Cats pulled away late for a 52-39 win. It was a win for both the Corydon Central Lady Panthers and the Harrison County Chapter of the American Cancer Society Relay For Life last Tuesday night in the Shoot for the Cure game at North Harrison High School.
