LHDC assists with COVID-19 resources
Lincoln Hills Development Corp. recently purchased KN95 masks to provide as a donation to local area health organizations in Crawford, Perry and Spencer counties to assist with combating the COVID-19 crisis. KN95 masks are personal protective equipment that are vital for health care providers when treating COVID-19.
Rebecca Ferrell, the Crawford County resource coordinator and licensed health care navigator with the Covering Kids & Families program, delivered 500 KN95 masks to the Crawford County Health Department to be distributed by the county health nurse.
The resource coordination program is new at LHDC and involves resource coordinators working with individuals and families to assist with identifying needs and coordinating services and resources in a systemic way. Resource coordinators are available in Crawford, Perry and Spencer counties.
