Even though the 2020 Jasper Strassenfest is canceled, the Dubois County Museum will keep the spirit of Strassenfest alive by exhibiting from July 30 through the month of August their collection of Strassenfest articles from the past years of Strassenfest.

The museum exhibit team will display the complete sets of Strassenfest mugs, buttons and programs dating back to the beginning of the Strassenfest. The 2020 mug and button will be added to the collection.

Due to COVID-19, the Saturday, Aug. 1, programs planned with Richard Day on education in Southern Indiana and a special schoolhouse program in the museum’s schoolhouse will be canceled.

The museum will be open normal hours from Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m.
