Bartels to host bipartisan summit regarding community needs
Bartels to host bipartisan summit regarding community needs
State Rep. Stephen Bartels

State Rep. Stephen Bartels, R-Eckerty, will host a bipartisan summit with Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch that will discuss issues impacting local communities.

Tomorrow (Thursday), Bartels and Crouch will meet with elected county, city and town officials from 4 to 6 p.m. On Friday, they will meet with local military service members, sheriffs, police officers, firefighters, 911 dispatchers and first responders from Crawford, Dubois, Orange, Perry and Spencer counties from 10 a.m. to noon.

The summit will take place at the Patoka Lake Winery Event Center, located at 2900 Dillard Road, Birdseye.

Also, the summit will provide local leaders from Crawford, Dubois, Orange, Perry and Spencer counties an opportunity to talk with state elected officials prior to the next legislative session, which is set to begin in January.
