Council member’s focus includes improving appearance of Marengo
Since the story came out in the Clarion News about the June Marengo Town Council meeting, I have been questioned by some people who still believe I did the things I was accused of. I want to make clear that those accusations are completely false.
I absolutely did not threaten any resident, and I do not carry a gun. I did not leave the note that was signed with my name on the truck that was parked in the alley. Gary Robinson attended the June council meeting, and he, in fact, admitted he was the one who planted the note.
I want to see Marengo improve and move forward in the future for my children and grandchildren. The council is focusing on cleaning up the town to improve both the appearance and the sense of pride people have. You feel better about something when it looks nice.
Anyone who has any questions is welcome to call me anytime. I would be happy to discuss any issues with anyone. My number is 812-572-3429.
